RV Rentals for the Colorado Renaissance Festival

The festival runs weekends from mid-June into early August in Larkspur. Jellystone sits in the same town with full hookups, so book both together.

Your Campsite Is Four Minutes From the Gate

The festival occupies 650 Perry Park Ave. Jellystone Park sits at 650 Sky View Ln, the same small town, open all year with full hookups. That proximity is rare enough to plan the whole trip around: the campsite stops being somewhere you drive back to and becomes the thing the weekend revolves around. [VERIFY: delivery fee and radius]

Weekends Only, So Book Friday to Sunday

Gates open Saturdays and Sundays only, 10:00 am to 6:30 pm, across eight consecutive weekends. A two-night booking is therefore the natural unit, not a single night. With Jellystone open year round the campground is never the bottleneck here. The festival is: it sold out for the first time in its history and has capped tickets since.

This is the easiest camping answer on our whole events calendar, and the thing we still field most is where to stay. The festival sits at 650 Perry Park Ave and Jellystone Park is at 650 Sky View Ln, the same small town, open year round with full hookups, so the campsite stops being somewhere you drive back to. Book it direct on 720-325-2393. Three gate rules are worth knowing before you walk in: vendors take cash only, no coolers or outside food beyond factory-sealed bottled water, and no pets on the grounds at all, so the dog waits at the site and a powered pitch is the one to take.

Why Rent a Camper Van for the Renaissance Festival?

Over 100,000 visitors a season pour into a town of roughly 200 people, and the festival grounds hold no camping of their own. Four rules at the gate decide how useful a van is:

  • Vendors inside take cash only, so a galley you can eat from before and after saves both money and queueing
  • No coolers and no outside food beyond factory-sealed bottled water, which rules out the usual tailgate spread inside the gates
  • No pets on the grounds at all, so a dog needs somewhere climate-controlled to wait, and on a powered site that is the van
  • Parking is free and tailgating is actively encouraged, so the hours before opening are yours
  • Jellystone runs 20, 30 and 50 amp service with water and sewer, roughly 415 sites deep

Our vans sleep two to four, which matches the couples and small families this festival actually draws.

Where Do You Camp for the Renaissance Festival?

Nowhere on the festival site. Its information page carries no camping policy and no oversized-vehicle policy, because neither exists. Jellystone Park at Larkspur is the answer, and the order matters:

  1. Ring Jellystone on 720-325-2393 and take a site.
  2. Tell us the site number when you reserve the van.
  3. We level it, connect it and show you the hookups, tanks and propane.
  4. We take it away after the weekend.

Jellystone handles rigs to 45 or 50 feet depending on tier, so size is never the constraint on this trip. Worth knowing before you set off: leave the dog at the campsite, leave the cooler in the van, and carry cash for the food stalls. Compare our current rates before committing to the weekend.
