RV Rentals for the National Western Stock Show

The 2027 Stock Show runs January 9 to 24 in Denver. There is no camping at the grounds, so book a winter-ready site and a van early.

Camper Van Rentals for the Stock Show in Denver, CO

A Heated Box You Can Retreat To

The complex sits at 4655 Humboldt Street, four miles north of downtown. January in Denver is the whole problem and the whole argument: a van you can warm up in beats a parking garage and a long walk. We bring it to your campsite and hand it over there. [VERIFY: delivery fee and radius]

Book a Winterized Site, Not Just Any Site

This is the part that catches people out. Chatfield State Park closes its full-hookup loops from mid-October to mid-April, so in Stock Show week they simply are not there. Its electric-only sites stay open all year and the dump station keeps running for potable water and tank emptying. Ring any park you are considering and ask one question: is the water on in January?

Our Manager and the Denver team book more winter sites for Stock Show week than for anything else on the calendar, and there is one question we tell every renter to put to a campground: is the water on in January? Chatfield State Park closes its full-hookup loops from mid-October to mid-April, so during Stock Show week they are simply not there, though the electric-only sites stay open and the dump station keeps running. The grounds themselves publish no RV parking, camper parking or hookups anywhere, for the public or for exhibitors. The free Coors Field lot opens at 8:00 am with shuttles every fifteen minutes.

Why Rent a Camper Van for the Stock Show?

750,039 people came through the gates in 2026, a record in the show's 120-year history, and the grounds offer no RV camping whatsoever. That mismatch is what a van solves:

  • The Coors Field lot is free and runs shuttles every 15 minutes, and a van slots into a standard bay that a coach cannot
  • An N-Line commuter rail stop sits at the National Western Center, so the van can stay parked all day
  • F Lot and the Denver Coliseum are closer but first come, first served, and they fill early
  • Sixteen days of programming means a midweek visit dodges the weekend crush entirely
  • Stock Show week often runs below freezing, and insulation and a furnace matter more here than at any summer festival

Everything we rent is a Class B van sleeping two to four, small enough to park like a car in a downtown lot.

Getting in

Where Do You Park a Camper Van for the Stock Show?

Not at the grounds. The parking page, the FAQ, the exhibitor resources and the exhibitor map between them mention no RV parking, no camper parking and no hookups at all. What works instead is a campground plus public transport:

  1. Secure a site with confirmed January water service.
  2. We bring the van over and run you through the furnace, tanks, propane and battery.
  3. Leave it there. Drive or ride the N-Line in, or use the free Coors Field lot at 1601 Park Ave W.
  4. We collect the van when the show is done.

Two wrinkles. The campus is mid-redevelopment and the new structure due for 2027 is a garage, which as a class will not admit an RV. And the show's own pages disagree on free parking: the FAQ says every branded lot plus Coors Field, the parking page says Coors Field alone. Assume Coors Field. Our camper van rentals fit either answer.
